How do you price projects?

Fixed price per sprint, scoped upfront. Small websites typically land between $5K–$15K. Larger builds (custom platforms, Shopify apps, dashboards) $15K–$60K. After a 30-minute intro call we write a proper proposal with a fixed price — no surprises later, no scope creep invoices.

Do you bill hourly?

Accepted Answer

No, never. Hourly billing creates the wrong incentive — clients optimize for fewer hours, agencies optimize for billable ones. Fixed-scope sprints mean we're aligned on shipping the best version of the work, not on padding a timesheet.

How long does a typical project take?

Accepted Answer

Most engagements are 2–6 week fixed-scope sprints. A marketing site: 3–4 weeks. A Shopify app from scratch: 6–10 weeks. Custom platforms with real business logic: usually 4–8 weeks. Demos every Friday so you see the work as it's built.

Will we own the code and designs?

Accepted Answer

Yes, fully. Source code on GitHub, Figma files, domain control, and credentials are all handed over on day one of launch. You can swap us out for another studio at any time — we want the work to stand on its own, not chain you to us.

What happens after launch?

Accepted Answer

Monthly retainer is optional, not mandatory. Most clients take one month of retained support after launch and then manage it themselves with our documentation. Some stay on retainer for years. Your call — we won't push.

Do you work with clients outside of BC?

Accepted Answer

Yes — most of our work is outside BC. We're based in Surrey but ship for clients across North America by default. Europe and Asia work too; we're flexible on meeting times. Remote by default, in-person on request.

What's your stack?

React and Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, Firebase or Postgres, Node for APIs, Python for ML work. Shopify apps use App Bridge + GraphQL. AI tooling is Claude or OpenAI via API, with n8n for workflow automation. We pick what fits the problem, not what's trendy.

Are you taking new work right now?

Accepted Answer

Yes — accepting projects for Q2 and Q3 of 2026. Rush work may be possible for smaller scopes; ask us. Our only filter is scope we can personally stand behind, not industry or budget.
